The ITS Congresses represent the ultimate showcase of smart mobility services and ITS deployment. Every year two years, ERTICO organise the ITS European Congress and every third year, the ITS World Congress in the EMEA Region.

The ITS Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), particularly in cities and regions where they are hosted. They represent an important channel to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policy-makers, experts, thought leaders, academics, researchers and the general public. They include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS, a showcase of cutting-edge technology and an exhibition space. The Congresses offers the ultimate platform to meet with industry leaders, discuss innovative initiatives, make new contacts and promote new business ideas by taking part in a range of activities.

ERTICO ensures that the themes of the ITS Congresses challenge, deepen and support current and future ERTICO activities. The Congresses’ represent an ideal channel through which ERTICO fosters cooperation with the international industry community in the Americas and the Asia-Pacific regions.

The ITS European Congresses: Hosted by ERTICO, the European edition attract close to 3.000 attendees from 50 countries to experience +100 sessions based on the key themes of the event, including challenges and opportunities across the ITS industry and smart mobility sector.

ITS World Congresses: Hosted by ERTICO in Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) region every third year, in rotating basis with the ITS regional organisations, ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific, these events welcome up to 15.000 attendees from over 100 countries to experience +150 sessions, reflecting the worldwide challenges and opportunities in smart mobility and intelligent transport.
