ERTICO presents at the TTF Annual Conference 2024

The Transport Technology Forum (TTF) Annual Conference is back, and this year, ERTICO will be actively contributing with insights into its unique public-private Partnership and some of the leading activities in reshaping urban mobility.

Bringing together central government officials, local authorities, and industry experts, the TTF Annual Conference is set to discuss technology solutions used by local authorities to solve their road transport challenges. From digital Traffic Regulation Orders to the National Parking Platform, attendees will gain insights into the TTF’s Working Groups, case studies of real-world implementations and opportunities to connect with industry suppliers at the exhibition.

Last year in May, ERTICO and TTF signed an engagement agreement, reaffirming their commitment to advance solutions in smart mobility through knowledge-sharing and leveraging both organisations’ work on areas of mutual interest. Representing ERTICO, Agne Vaitekenaite, Partnership Development Manager, will return to the event, following her presentation of last year’s TTF Annual Conference in Leeds at the TTF Autumn Update in Birmingham. At the TTF Annual Conference this year, taking place between 23-25 April in Leicestershire, she will highlight the ERTICO activities and projects related to artificial intelligence, research, and innovation, underscoring the organisation’s ongoing efforts to harness cutting-edge technologies for enhancing mobility solutions.

The conference will focus on how technology can help solve road transport challenges.  It will feature details of government priorities and policies, the funding landscape and share examples of best practices around digital solutions, cybersecurity and collaboration.  Delegates will also hear updates on the important work being carried out by the six TTF Working Groups.

The TTF Annual Conference holds significant importance for ERTICO due to its role as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking within the transportation sector in the United Kingdom. As an advocate for intelligent transport systems and smart mobility solutions, ERTICO recognises the conference as a key opportunity to showcase its innovative projects, share insights into its public-private Partnership model, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of urban mobility with its Partners and stakeholders from the UK.

Following the TTF-ERTICO collaboration plan, ERTICO also organised a Focus-On event on Micro mobility in collaboration with the Transport Technology Forum in December 2023 in London. This event served as a platform for industry leaders and innovators to convene and delve into the intricacies of micro-mobility solutions, addressing pressing issues and exploring opportunities for sustainable urban transportation.
