Rita Bhandari holds a master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Delhi, India. While continuing her research at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA, she taught undergraduate and graduate summer school courses on applied and theoretical linguistics. In Belgium, she worked at the former speech technology firm Lernout & Hauspie as a senior linguist, and as a communications officer at Amnesty International Europe.

Rita has been at ERTICO since March 2017 with expertise in project management and EU project communications. She is also a programme manager for ERTICO’s ITS Congresses.

Rita is an English-Hindi bilingual, speaks Dutch and French, and has been learning Japanese.
