Before joining ERTICO, George worked for seven years at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence in Cyprus on various innovation and deployment projects related to digitalisation in transportation. He also supported the Ministry of Transport in Cyprus with the compliance of the ITS Directive and relevant regulations. Earlier in his career, Geroge was employed by Jacobs UK in London as a Transport Consultant, focusing on urban mobility, traffic modelling using mobile phone data, smart motorways, and data visualisation for two years.
George holds an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management, an MSc in Spatio-Temporal Analytics and Big Data Mining from University College London, and a BEng in Geo-Information Engineering from the Cyprus University of Technology.
A native Greek speaker, George also speaks English and has some proficiency in Spanish.
