Euripides holds a diploma (MEng) in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Transportation Engineering, both from the Aristotle University. He has also completed an Executive Management Programme for Shipping Industry Talents at the Shanghai Maritime University in China while he is a PhD candidate in Maritime Economics at the University of Antwerp.

Before joining ERTICO in February 2025, Euripides worked as a Project Officer of the European Commission under CINEA CEF Transport. He maintains a track record of coherent and intensive professional experience in the field of research and implementation on European transport policy since 2012 including involvement as an external evaluator/expert for SHIFT2RAIL Joint Undertaking (S2R JU), while he held several transport and logistics senior positions in international companies.

From 2022 to 2024 he was elected as an Executive Member of the Board of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (SES) while for the same period, he held the Chair for the Scientific Committee E6 for Freight Transport.

A native Greek, Euripides also speaks fluent English and basic French.
