Dear ERTICO partners,
On behalf trilateral EU-US-Japan WG on Automation in Road Transport, the Impact Assessment subgroup led by VTT is contacting FOT data owners and invites them to make entries to the FOT-NET Data Catalogue.
The FOT Net Data project has established principles for data re-use and sharing; its mission is to facilitate re-use of FOT datasets. They also have a large network of experts that is frequently meeting with different topics related to FOTs. The FOT-Net Wiki gives an overview of the majority of all FOTs conducted globally. Lately they have added a new catalogue describing the datasets collected in FOTs, naturalistic driving studies and other field trials. It will be an important tool for promoting these datasets and also a convenient way of searching for suitable ones. This Data Catalogue is now open for public. There are multiple benefits in data sharing and, especially, when it can open new cooperation possibilities through the data and may also get funding to do further research on the shared data.
FOT-NET Data is looking for information about datasets that have been collected in FOTs (small or large) and that could be shared with someone under (freely/under NDA/by providing research services, all/partly, objective/subjective data, for free/with some funding, etc.).
We would like to invite you to make entries for your datasets (shouldn’t take more than 15 mins with the form). The entries can be easily edited later on.
NOTE: To be able to make the entry, you need to get account for the wiki.
