Workshop: Circular Economy Towards a Life-Cycle Approach, from sustainable sourcing to end of life

This joint workshop of the ERTRAC Working Groups “Energy & Environment” and “Global Competitiveness” is being organized within the framework of the EU project “FUTURE-RADAR”, of which ERTICO is a Partner. 

Agenda

Four domains in which the Circular Economy is impacting Road Transport will be addressed during this workshop:

– LCA Life-Cycle Assessment methodology for road transport

– Battery systems: from materials sourcing to design for second life and recyclability

– Future sustainable materials used for vehicles (e.g. bioplastic)

– Fuels based on sustainable sources

There will be a keynote presentation per domain, followed by a panel discussion with invited experts and the audience.

The conclusions of the workshop will provide input to the Research & Development recommendations of ERTRAC and EGVIA with respect to European collaborative research.

Registration

The event is on invitation for the members of the ERTRAC and EGVIA networks. Participation is free of charge but registration is mandatory. Registration will open at the beginning of 2020 when a more detailed agenda will be circulated.
