‘Navigating Tomorrow: Urban Mobility’s Future Challenges‘, hosted by our Partner SAE and organised with the support of NAVISP/ESA and ERTICO, will bring together industry leaders, researchers, and institutional stakeholders to explore the pivotal role of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems in shaping the future of urban mobility.
This one-day event will take place on Wednesday 4th December in Brussels, featuring six roundtable discussions where experts will address technological and regulatory challenges in deploying Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM). With over twenty years of experience in Digital Signal Processing for Communication Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), IoT, embedded Security Systems, Cryptography and 5G, Dr Nikolaos Tsampieris, Head of Transport for Logistics at ERTICO will join the event as a roundtable host.
We will explore the critical theme of ‘Navigation and Positioning in Urban Mobility,’ focusing on the PNT technologies vital for improving the safety and efficiency of urban transportation.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, introduce their research questions, and help shape the future of urban mobility. Recommendations from each roundtable will be submitted to the relevant EU institutions for consideration.
