ITS Austria Conference 2024: On the Move – Together

We are delighted to extend the invitation to the ITS Austria Conference 2024, which will take place in Vienna from 20 to 21 November. Organised by our Partner, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), this event will explore the future of mobility under the theme ‘On the move—together.’

The conference will focus on the crucial role of international collaboration and digital transformation in modernising transport systems, showcasing how cross-border efforts and European initiatives are shaping tomorrow’s mobility.

Together with national and European partners and experts, the event will present examples of successes, highlight key elements for the digitalisation and automation of the European mobility system and discuss necessary measures for building skills and increasing the attractiveness of the domestic mobility industry.

Austria plays a pioneering role in a networked Europe. Domestic players have been successfully networking with each other (e.g. Verkehrsauskunft Österreich, EVIS) and neighbouring countries for years. C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems) or the European Mobility Data Space design demonstrate the strength of these co-operations.

Held at the Federal Ministry for Climate Action in Vienna, the conference will feature an exciting agenda with international keynote speeches, dynamic panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in the field. Over two days, they will be presenting international initiatives and national projects – from traffic management and travel information to new automated mobility solutions that show how we can successfully shape the mobility of the future together.
