Europe is on its way to generating and making use of more data than ever. The project PrepDSpace4Mobility aims to contribute to the development of the common European mobility data space by supporting the creation of a technical infrastructure that will facilitate easy, cross-border access to key data for both passengers and freight. Given the enormous potential of data and digital technologies, the project is expected to have a positive impact on European competitiveness, society, and the environment.
Join this webinar to hear some of the leading experts in the field of mobility, transport and data space technology to learn more about the preliminary results of the project and give early feedback in order to sharpen the focus as needed and requested from the real market. The workshop will take place in virtual format on January 31, from 15.00 – 17.30 (CET) and gather suppliers and users of data, relevant research institutes, associations, initiatives, politics, as well as technology and service providers in data spaces to ensure appropriate representation. Access the preliminary agenda and register here.
ERTICO’s contribution to PrepDSpace4Mobility CSA
The project PrepData4Mobility will deliver an inventory of existing data platforms and marketplaces which allow sharing of data relevant to mobility and an analysis of gaps and overlaps of data, identify potential common building blocks and opportunities for integrating the mobility data space and data ecosystems in the emerging European data and cloud services infrastructure. Within this framework, ERTICO will activate its network of mobility Intelligent Transport Systems to public and private stakeholders (coming from cities and regions and Ministries as well as Traffic Industry and Service Providers and OEMs and Connectivity Industry- as they are all data providers and users) and organise and hold a Workshop of Experts that will identify:
Moreover, ERTICO will survey requirements regarding data space building blocks and governance frameworks from the ERTICO Partnership ecosystem, covering the following initiatives and collaborations: TN-ITS (on fresh map updates); TISA (travel information protocols); TM 2.0 (on interactive traffic management); EAVP (on European automated valet parking); DFRS (on the data force for road safety); ADASIS (on ADAS and driving assistance for automated driving); SENSORIS (on Vehicle sensor data); The Maas Alliance (on MaaS). Information will be collected by means of a half-day workshop and gathered in an event report.
