ERTICO holds DFRS General Assembly in Brussels

On Wednesday, 19 October, the DFRS partners are meeting in Brussels for a General Assembly, chaired by ERTICO’s CEO, Joost Vantomme.

Representatives from the European Commission’s DG MOVE will join the session to introduce the latest updates on the ITS Directive, Mobility Data Space and the Data Act. At the gathering, 5GAA CTO Maxime Flament will present the association’s mission and work related to data sharing.

DFRS has long-standing experience in data exchange to improve road safety. Collaboration between public and private entities is the key to its success. Road authorities, service providers, automotive suppliers and vehicle manufacturers, together with ERTICO, feed our Safety-Related Traffic Information (SRTI) Ecosystem. DFRS works closely with the European Commission to ensure compliance with EU legislation and contribute to their goals in terms of road safety.
