B-APCO eCall Conference

The eCall conference staged by British-APCO, is one of the first events in the UK to explore the implications of the eCall service, (This applies to both the Private and the forth-coming public eCall Service). We’ll be discussing and debating important questions including:

• What do the eCall Chain stakeholders in the UK need to be doing to prepare for this new technology”?

• What are the implications for the emergency services, is it all good news?

• What difference could eCall make to other services that support the emergency services, how can this new way of notifying incidents be harnessed?

• eCall is just the start of the technology linked to the Connected Car, how will this affect operational deployments and tasking?

• What could the future bring in terms of the deployment of these technologies that are linked to Global Navigation Systems and Services and the provision of data to the emergency services.
