Before joining ERTICO, Diackel worked as a project coordinator at LUCISUN, Brussels where she supported H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. She has also completed an internship at CREG, the Energy Regulatory Commission of Belgium, where she was involved in EU energy law and monitored policy developments.

Diackel holds a Bachelor’s in Law and Political science from Université de Bordeaux, a Master’s in international law from Université Lyon 3 and an Advanced Master’s in European law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

Diackel is Senegalese and speaks Fula, Wolof, French, English and Intermediate Spanish.
