On Sunday, 15 September, industry experts and thought leaders from around the globe will converge in Dubai for the ‘Global Cooperation Roundtable on Intelligent Connected Vehicles,’ a pivotal event co-hosted by ERTICO and the Global Industry Organizations Roundtable (GIO). This roundtable, open for innovation only, has been strategically scheduled just before the ITS World Congress 2024 kicks off. It is set to explore innovative collaborations, and best practices, and accelerate advancements in the field of Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICVs).
As a key role in this global dialogue, ERTICO will not only facilitate crucial conversations but also actively address the challenges faced by the ICV industry and explore collaborative avenues for building a better global ecosystem, with the ultimate goal of benefiting industries worldwide. ERTICO representatives will engage in these conversations and present the diversity of regional perspectives which underscores the joint commitment to fostering international cooperation whilst driving the evolution of intelligent transport systems. By bringing together industry leaders from different regions, we aim to create a cohesive global strategy that will not only enhance the development of ICVs but also contribute to a more connected and efficient transportation ecosystem worldwide.
Following the joint opening remarks with Martin Creane, ERTICO CEO Joost Vantomme will also present more insight into ‘The global market insights of Intelligent Connected Vehicles‘. Another key highlight of this event is Peter Schmitting, ERTICO Manager in Innovation & Deployment, who will provide his reflection in the presentation on ‘Requirements and challenges for Intelligent Connected Vehicles‘.
