eCall Workshop

The workshop builds up on the eCall TESTFEST event, to be held at the same place from 9 to 11 November. This open workshop aims at presenting the Pan European eCall service and the private variants of eCall, i.e. the Third Party service eCall. The workshop is an opportunity for stakeholders from the safety and transport sectors, as well as for students, to understand the principles of eCall from the technological and deployment points of view. eCall and testing experts will also present how interoperability ids handled as well as the role of the TESTFEST event. Finally, the evolutions of eCall in the future will be presented.
The workshop will be concluded by an eCall demonstration provided by the local Fire Brigade and visit of the TESTFEST event providing the opportunity to meet eCall system developers and testing experts.

The TESTFEST event is a unique opportunity for vendors to test interoperability of IVS and PSAP during one week. Following 3 successful events in 2012, 2013 and 2014, the 4th eCall TESTFEST will be held at Vitkovice facilities in Ostrava (CZ) from 9 to 13 November 2015.
