CARTRE (Coordination of Automated Road Transport Deployment for Europe) is a Coordination and Support Action funded under the H2020 programme to accelerate the development and deployment of automated road transport. By supporting the development of clearer and more consistent policies of the EU Member States in collaboration with industry players, CARTRE aims to ensure that ART systems and services are compatible at European level and deployed in a coherent way. CARTRE includes a joint stakeholder’s forum to coordinate and harmonise ART approaches at European and international level and to support current activities and research initiatives in specific thematic areas of Connected and Automated Transport.
