In parallel, the organiser team for the next EMEA ITS World Congress, taking place in Birmingham, 25-29 October 2027, will also encourage early engagement opportunities to exhibit and partner for the event.
Alongside these landmark activities, ERTICO will also host co-exhibiting Associations of ITS Nationals Organisations and their members, including Triplesign of ITS Sweden, FitsTraffic by WeAreDots of ITS Latvia, MLC-ITS Euskadi, ITS Norway, ITS Finland, in cooperation with ITS Nordic Plus, NEUROSOFT Network by ITS Poland, ITS Serbia, Devellop, Ambrosys of ITS Mobility, and our partners, the Hungarian Public Roads, and ITS Innovative Transport Solutions from South Africa.
The team will also present throughout many sessions in the Congress Programme, leveraging the opportunity to share expertise and learn from peers.
As the central hub of cross-sectoral and regional cooperation, ERTICO will present over 20 EU-funded projects, innovation platforms, and mobility data spaces. and Associations of ITS Nationals together with their member representatives.
A unified space, showcasing EU-(co)funded Projects, Innovation Platforms and Mobility Data Spaces
From electrification to automated driving and data interoperability among many other thematic areas in ITS, visitors are invited to meet ERTICO’s team of experts and consortium members on-site to discuss ongoing progress and key results of:
3DXVERSE, CAMBER, CCAMbassador, CHORUS, CulturalRoad, DFRS, eBRT2030, ENVELOPE, ePowerMove, EvoRoads, FEDORA, FRODDO, InclusiveSpaces, MACBETH, metaCCAZE, boostEDIC M&L, NAPCORE, NEXUS, O-CEI, SCUDO, SMARTIN, SUM, TN-ITS, and ZEV-UP.
Witnessing progress in motion through live demos of sustainable solutions
Among the seven live demonstrations of smart mobility solutions across the exhibition and dedicated test tracks, the ERTICO-coordinated ZEV-UP project will showcase its teleoperated electric vehicle, developed for urban mobility and last-mile delivery applications. The vehicle highlights zero-emission transport combined with remote operation capabilities supported by 5G connectivity. It also demonstrates how lightweight, multi-purpose electric vehicles can improve efficiency and flexibility in urban logistics and passenger transport. The project finalised vehicle architecture and component development in 2025, preparing for prototype assembly and demonstration in real conditions throughout 2026.
As the management of innovation, and development of demonstration plans for each use case, pilot city and region, ERTICO has contributed to the NextETRUCK project’s demonstration. By showcasing its electric freight vehicle in reducing emissions and improving efficiency in logistics operations, the project’s vehicle, developed within a European innovation framework, integrates advanced powertrain technologies and smart charging solutions, supporting the transition towards sustainable urban and regional freight transport. This showcase will be hosted by ERTICO Partner, Ford Otosan, also an official Congress Partner.
Alongside the project’s real-life showcases of innovative solutions, visitors can also experience Ford Otosan’s fully electric multi-purpose vehicle designed for passenger and commercial use on their stand.
