I&D Manager Stephen T’Siobbel holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Geology from Ghent University (UGhent), Belgium.
Before joining ERTICO, he spent five years as a Research Assistant at the Geography Department of the Free University of Brussels, followed by over 20 years at Tele Atlas (later TomTom) as Senior Manager in R&D and Program Management. There, he pioneered map-enabled ADAS and autonomous driving (AD) technologies with OEMs, advanced road data exchange with authorities, and contributed to geospatial standardisation.
With expertise in project, program, product, and partner management, Stephen also serves as Director of MOBLT BV, a consultancy where he mentors and advises start-ups, organisations, and policymakers in ITS and mobility data.
A native Dutch speaker, he is fluent in English and French and has a working understanding of German.
