EvoRoads supports the EU’s Vision Zero goal by advancing innovative models, tools, and services to improve road safety. It strengthens safety assessment frameworks through data-driven methodologies, enabling dynamic monitoring of cyber-physical infrastructure and delivering proactive safety risk alerts.

- Implement the 'Safe System' approach as the foundation of the 2021–2030 EU road safety policy.
- Apply safety performance KPIs to monitor progress, supported by a harmonised EU-wide methodology for measuring safety-related indicators.
- Develop inclusive safety solutions for all road users, including micro-mobility, with a strong focus on the needs of Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs).
- Introduce dynamic assessment tools for road networks to support Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) services.
- Improve traffic safety and efficiency at road maintenance sites using evidence-based safety metrics.a
