Organised sessions FAQ
Review procedure
Format
Due to the increased competition for slots, to ensure as a wide a range of SIS topics, and to give an equal opportunity to all potential session submitters, highly qualified reviewers from the European Programme Committee (EPC) will use these criteria to select sessions submitted on time and in the specified format:
- Relevance to the Congress Theme and chosen Topic
- Interactive format, not a sequence of individual presentations
- New discussion topic (not featured in past Congresses)
- Broad thematic scope, not single projects
- Diverse and gender-balanced moderator/speaker line-up
- Minimum three confirmed speakers from different countries and organisations
- Clear role and contribution for each speaker
- SFS only: must additionally describe the future and strategic aspects of one of the designated topics and propose an innovative, informal, and highly interactive session format.
📌 Submissions that do not meet these criteria may not be considered.
