For over 30 years, ERTICO has been connecting minds to turn innovation into action at the ITS Congresses
The ITS Congresses have stood as the benchmark gathering for intelligent transport since 1994. These unique public-private stakeholder events were founded on a shared recognition that the transport sector needed a forum to exchange knowledge, address challenges, and accelerate the innovations shaping the future of mobility.
The ITS European Congress
Organised by ERTICO every two consecutive years, the ITS European Congress highlights achievements and advancements in mobility and transport across cities and regions where it is hosted.
Reflecting the common goals in mobility and transport across both public and private stakeholders, these events become the epicentre of Europe’s intelligent transport conversation. From research and pilot projects to concrete real-world deployment of everyday solutions and services, the Congress aim to advance smarter, safer, and more sustainable ways of moving people and goods.
ITS World Congress
The ITS World Congress is the leading global event in smart mobility and digital transport, co-organised annually by ERTICO – ITS Europe, ITS America, and ITS Asia-Pacific. Every third year, ERTICO organise the Congress in the EMEA region, bringing together up to 15,000 participants from across the world, including industry leaders, public authorities, researchers, and innovators.
As cities and regions around the world face similar challenges, the ITS World Congress provides a global platform to exchange ideas, align strategies, and showcase scalable solutions. It reflects a shared ambition among public and private stakeholders to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and accelerate the transition towards a safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility future.
