ZEV-UP Webinar: Affordability at the Wheel

The ZEV-UP project, coordinated by ERTICO, is hosting its webinar, "Affordability at the Wheel: How user-centric, frugal ultra-compact BEVs can drive Europe’s e-mobility future", on 15 September 2026 from 14:00 to 15:00 CET.

The webinar will explore how frugal, ultra-compact Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) can play an important role in making urban mobility more affordable. Thanks to their smaller size, lower charging needs, and simpler design, these vehicles can offer fast, practical, and scalable solutions to today’s urban transport challenges.

The discussion will focus on the industrial strategies behind their development, the innovation that can make them both affordable and reliable, and the market approaches needed to position ultra-compact electric vehicles as a key part of the future of city mobility.
