Agne Vaitekenaite has spent the past decade building an international career at the intersection of policy, innovation, inclusion, and public-private partnerships across Brussels, Lithuania, the UK, and the United States.
Her professional background spans international cooperation, EU affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in International Journalism from the University of Leeds (UK), completed the Executive Leadership Development Program at Harvard University (USA), and further expanded her leadership training through a specialised programme at the United Nations in Switzerland.
As Head of Advocacy and Partnership at ERTICO, Agne leads advocacy and partnership strategies, manages a multicultural team, and leads cross-sector partnerships to advance smart and sustainable mobility.
Prior to her current role, Agne worked at the European Parliament, General Secretariat, contributing to initiatives led by the former European Parliament Vice-President.
She has been a recognised speaker at the United Nations, World Bank Group, ITU, European Commission, and major international conferences, while also hosting the podcast "Connecting Dots & Talks" on transport, AI, innovation, and inclusive mobility.
A strong advocate for gender responsive policy across the EU transport sector, Agne serves as the Ambassador of the European Commission’s #DiversityInTransport initiative.
Agne is a Lithuanian national. She speaks fluent English, basic Spanish and German, and is currently learning French.
