After three years, the SINFONICA project, an EU-funded project under the CCAM Partnership, reaches its conclusion. The project will host its Final Event in Brussels on 28 August 2025 at The Hotel (Boulevard de Waterloo 38, 1000 Brussels). The event will present the project’s key outcomes and achievements and explore how to build on its legacy to support inclusive, accessible and user-centred Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) in Europe.
Since its launch, SINFONICA fostered the development of inclusive, accessible and user-centred Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) solutions in Europe. The project developed and implemented a co-creation methodology involving diverse stakeholders in four Groups of Interest in Europe to develop concrete recommendations, tools, and strategies for inclusive CCAM solutions.
The SINFONICA Final Event will provide a unique opportunity to hear directly from project partners and other invited experts. Participants will discover SINFONICA’s vision, methodology and main findings, gain insights from the four research territories, and explore practical tools developed by the project in an interactive marketplace, including the SINFONICA Knowledge Map Explorer – an innovative tool designed to guide stakeholders in developing and deploying inclusive CCAM-based services that respond to real user needs. A panel discussion with related EU-funded projects – including CulturalRoad, coordinated by ERTICO – will highlight how to leverage results across initiatives. Andrew Winder, Senior Manager at ERTICO, will present the project’s final recommendations, followed by a discussion on future research directions. The event will conclude with a networking cocktail.
The event is open to all CCAM stakeholders and will discuss lessons learned, providing actionable guidance for policymakers, CCAM developers, service operators, public authorities, and other European mobility initiatives.
