Registrations are now open for the 17th ITS European Congress, Europe’s primary event for those shaping intelligent, connected and sustainable transport systems. Taking place in Istanbul from 27-29 April 2026, the Congress will bring together thousands of participants from over 70 countries, including representatives from European institutions, public authorities, industry, research and academia.
Istanbul’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, combined with its active deployment of C-ITS pilots, driverless metro lines and data-driven urban logistics solutions, offers an ideal opportunity to experience real-world application of technologies and intelligent mobility systems in operation. Under the theme “Bridging Innovation: Integrated, safe and seamless mobility,” participants will explore how digitalisation, connectivity and cooperation across modes and sectors are enabling transport systems that are safer, more resilient, more sustainable and more inclusive.
A comprehensive programme fostering knowledge exchange
The Congress programme, featuring 400+ expert speakers, will combine a high-level plenary and co-created thematic sessions with a technical programme comprising 100+ expert-led sessions. Presentations will address four strategic topics: safety and resilience through intelligent systems; multimodal mobility system management; smart and sustainable logistics in the digital era; and enhancing transport and mobility beyond the road.
Innovation, collaboration and real-world solutions
More than 140 exhibitors will convene in the exhibition hall to showcase their innovations and technologies in action. Participants will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations and technical visits, as well as presentations of deployable, real-world solutions in the exhibition’s ITS Arena to strengthen collaboration, knowledge exchange and business development. A rich programme of networking and social events will further support partnership-building across the mobility ecosystem.
Registration passes tailored to participant experience
Registration is structured around two primary passes: The Innovation Pass is designed for participants focusing on solution discovery, providing access to the exhibition, on-site demonstrations, ITS Arena tracks, official opening and closing ceremonies, as well as networking opportunities within the Congress venue; and the Knowledge Pass, offering on top of the Innovation Pass, the access to the Technical Programme and the co-created sessions.
