More than an exhibition: The value of connecting the ecosystem
The Partner Tour offered more than a closer look at individual technologies. It demonstrated how different areas of expertise within the ERTICO Partnership contribute to a shared vision for the future of mobility.
From global technology companies and automotive manufacturers to mobility solution providers and public transport authorities, each Partner brought a different perspective to the challenges facing transport systems today.
What connected them was a common ambition: turning technological progress into practical solutions that make mobility safer, more efficient, connected and sustainable.
By bringing these organisations together, the ERTICO Partnership creates opportunities for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration across sectors and borders. The ITS World Congress provided an international setting to strengthen these connections, discover complementary expertise and explore how innovations developed in different markets can contribute to common mobility goals.
Continuing the journey towards Birmingham 2027
As the ITS World Congress 2026 in Gangneung concluded, attention also turned towards Birmingham, which will welcome the global ITS community for the ITS World Congress in 2027.
The presence of Transport for West Midlands during the Partner Tour provided an early opportunity to look ahead to the next Congress and the conversations, collaborations and innovations it will bring.
For ERTICO and its Partners, the journey continues beyond any single event. Through its international community, the Partnership helps connect organisations, exchange knowledge and create opportunities to advance intelligent mobility together.
Because the true value of the ERTICO Partnership lies not only in the expertise of its individual members, but in what becomes possible when that expertise comes together.
