ERTICO – ITS Europe was delighted to reconnect with its Partners in person at the 31st ITS World Congress 2025, held from 24–28 August in Atlanta, USA. The Partners Tour provided a dynamic platform and opportunity to explore innovative initiatives through interactive presentations and demonstrations that highlighted the latest technologies and solutions from ERTICO Partners. Led by Chairman Dr Angelos Amditis, CEO Joost Vantomme, Head of Partnership & Advocacy Agne Vaitekenaite, Senior Manager for Program and Knowledge Integration Rita Bhandari and Communications Manager Johanna Stapelberg, the delegation engaged with Partners at their exhibition stands – creating stronger relationships and gaining valuable insights into their strategic visions and pioneering projects.
At the exhibition, Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) presented the upcoming ITS World Congress 2027 in Birmingham, highlighting the region’s role in shaping the future of intelligent mobility.
HERE Technologies showcased their AI-powered unified mapping solutions, which are driving smarter mobility through innovations in traffic management, route planning, and more. Both organisations co-exhibited with ERTICO – ITS Europe, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration and shared commitment to advancing smart transport solutions.
Yunex Traffic presented their cloud-powered traffic management platforms, connected vehicle (C-V2X) infrastructure, and adaptive solutions — designed to help cities make mobility safer, smarter, and more sustainable today and into the future.
Miovision was giving in-vehicle demonstrations of the Miovision Connected Vehicle and VRU Alert. Also, in collaboration with HARMAN Automotive, Miovision showcased how to help navigate intersections and support safe driving experiences with HARMAN Ready Aware, a new vehicle-to-network (V2N) based SaaS solution delivering contextual and intelligent alerts like time to green and red-light assist.
Toyota stood up for their motto "Towards Our Ultimate Goal of Zero Crashes,” and explained how they are aiming to achieve zero traffic accidents by utilizing both conventional and cutting-edge technologies.
DENSO showcased its latest smart mobility technologies at the ITS World Congress 2025, including V2X communication units, keyless fleet access, and advanced systems like dynamic wireless charging and high-resolution lidar for traffic safety. These innovations, part of its MobiQ™ brand, aim to enhance road safety, efficiency, and sustainability while supporting a mobility-centered society.
Aisin showcased its latest advancements in safety and infrastructure under the theme “Safety and security initiatives through ITS toward zero traffic accidents.” Attendees explored Aisin’s Road Maintenance Solution (ARMS), a road damage detection software that harnesses high-accuracy location data from Aisin’s Location-Based Services.
Honda showcased its vision for zero traffic fatalities and carbon neutrality through innovations like next-generation Honda SENSING, CI Driving Assistance, and fuel cell technologies. Their exhibit highlighted real-world safety systems, environmental solutions, and collaborative efforts in connected vehicle communication to support a safer and more sustainable mobility future.
Indra showcased its pioneering deployment of dual-purpose V2X Toll and V2X Safety infrastructure in collaboration with the North Carolina Turnpike Authority. Their solution integrates tolling and safety functions via connected vehicle technology, enabling real-time communication, automated charging, and enhanced motorist safety. By leveraging hardware-agnostic C-V2X systems, Indra aims to reduce enforcement costs and improve mobility across express lanes.
TomTom showcased its latest traffic and mapping technologies, including Orbis Maps and developer-first tools aimed at solving modern mobility challenges. The event featured immersive demos, expert talks, and partner presentations highlighting how TomTom’s data and solutions support safer, smarter, and more efficient urban transportation systems.
PTV Group, as part of Umovity, showcased their comprehensive software and hardware solutions for modeling, simulating, managing, and optimizing mobility for humanity - including Econolite's award-winning AI-powered Autoscope OptiVu HD video sensor solution, and the new detection solution EPIQ RADAR, that was launched by Econolite at the World Congress. Econolite and PTV Group experts provided live, in-booth demonstrations of Umovity's integrated solutions, including the cloud-based real-time traffic management software Centracs Mobility with PTV Flows, and Econolite's EOS traffic controller firmware combined with PTV Vissim traffic simulation.
Monotch demonstrated how TLEX Interchange on Azure Marketplace makes real-time mobility data exchange easy to deploy and integrate within existing infrastructures. They also highlighted TLEX Use Case Support Packages, offering proven ROI for cities and road authorities through services like emergency vehicle priority, road works warnings, traffic light optimization and more.
Kapsch TrafficCom showcased its cutting-edge mobility solutions focused on connected vehicles, urban and highway traffic management, and V2X-based tolling systems. Their booth emphasised real-world implementations that enhance transportation safety, efficiency, and sustainability through smart infrastructure and communication technologies.
