Phase I focuses on data sharing; Mobility as a Service (MaaS); and policy priorities on sustainability and the role of transport to exploit fully the opportunities offered by digitalisation.
Phase II
City Moonshot is currently working on Phase II, conducting a second round of interviews focusing on two main topics:
Building on the successful work of Phase I in engaging cities worldwide on their smart mobility challenges, Phase II aims to further explore the role of sustainable and innovative transportation solutions in urban environments.
By addressing the advancements and challenges in E-mobility and UAM, City Moonshot continues to provide cities with valuable insights on how to integrate new technologies, improve sustainability, and shape the future of urban mobility systems.
This expansion will contribute to creating smarter, more sustainable cities that can effectively respond to the evolving mobility needs of their populations.
Phase II
The Phase I report compiles insights from 150 cities worldwide, exploring their mobility challenges, needs, and trends. This report provides a comprehensive understanding of how cities are approaching mobility in the context of sustainability and technological advancements.
Focus on the Report
The “Focus on” report delves deeper into the specific topics of Electromobility and Urban Air Mobility explored in Phase II, shedding light on the advancements and challenges cities face in these areas. Together, these reports offer valuable guidance for cities and policymakers as they navigate the future of urban mobility.
