Christoph holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.
Before joining ERTICO in May 2026, he spent five years as Technical Director at the mobility user organisation RACC in Barcelona, where he was responsible for consultancy and European-funded research and innovation projects in sustainable mobility, road safety, and intelligent transport systems (ITS). As part of this role, he was a member of the Transport and Mobility, and the Technical Working Group of the FIA.
Before that, he worked for eight years as a transport consultant for Steer in London, Bologna and Delhi, helping the public sector to assess the impact of transport schemes and policies, and providing strategic advice to transport and infrastructure operators.
He is a native German speaker, and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian.
