The Annual POLIS Conference is Europe’s leading sustainable urban mobility event, bringing together cities, regions, and key stakeholders to showcase transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts and decisionmakers from the public and private sectors.

Following a record-breaking 2025 edition in Utrecht with over 1,000 participants, the next conference will be hosted in Brussels, Belgium, on 2–3 December 2026.

The event will take place at THE EGG, a former warehouse turned conference centre, within walking distance of the Brussels South railway and metro station.

Call for Speakers now open

Being a speaker at the Annual POLIS Conference 2026 means presenting your work to a highly qualified audience of mobility stakeholders, contributing directly to shaping the conversations on the mobility of tomorrow.

Consult the 37 priority topics and submit an individual abstract proposal highlighting the innovative dimension and results achieved of the presented solutions. Sessions will be delivered in different formats, including workshops, roundtable discussions, and Pecha-Kucha-style presentations—suggestions for other new presentation formats are welcome!

The deadline for submissions is 24 April 2026. Selected speakers will be informed in June 2026.

Host a Session

For the first time, organisations and projects are invited to host their own dedicated session during the Annual POLIS Conference 2026.

If you have more to share than fits within a standard presentation, this is an opportunity to design and lead a full session aligned with the conference themes of innovative and sustainable mobility in cities and regions. Selected sessions will take place on Thursday, 3 December, from 14:15 to 16:15.

The deadline for submissions is 24 April 2026. The POLIS team will select up to 6 session applications and will communicate the results by 22 May.
