I would like to thank you for participating to the Webinar on ERTICO H2020-2017 Proposal development for Connected and Automated Driving on Friday 15/04/2016. Please book already the 23-24 June for a meeting at ERTICO.
Please find enclosed the presentation with all the relevant calls which were presented and also the participants list.
The relevant calls are identified below. For each of them, you may show your interest by filling in the indicated form. As a reminder: The Deadline for answering the feedback form is End of April. Let us know if you need more time.
- 2017-ART-01: ICT infrastructure to enable the transition towards road transport automation: This is a call directly relevant to ERTICO partners. ERTICO is interested to support at least three proposals on the various topics of “Connectivity for AV”, “AV Data generation, “Security” and “Dynamic and Accurate localisation and mapping”. Possibly ERTICO will coordinate one of the proposals.
Show your interest via partners feedback form for ART01 - 2017-ART-03: Multi-Brand platooning in real traffic conditions: ERTICO will support a large proposal including all commercial vehicle manufacturers as well as fleet owners.
Show your interest via partners feedback form for ART03 - 2017-ART-07: Full-scale demonstration of urban road transport automation: ERTICO is most likely to take the coordination role of a proposal on this topic.
Show your interest via partners feedback form for ART07 - 2017-ICT-15: Big Data Large Scale Pilots: This will be the second round for this call. ERTICO did not manage to put together a proposal for the first round. ERTICO office would like to work with the relevant partners to make a proposal dedicated to ITS and big data with demonstration of data collection and re-use for transport.

- 2017-MG -8.2 Big Data on Transport: Research opportunities, challenges, and limitations: ERTICO will support a CSA proposal including major big data providers and government authorities

The timeline for the H2020 2017 proposal development is:
- April: A C&AD webinar is planned to present the 2017 opportunities above Friday 15/04/2016 from 1530 to 1630
- End of April – deadline for partners feedback: Results about feedback of ERTICO partners per call or per programme
- During May: Webinars will be organised for individual calls with the ERTICO partners who have shown their interest through the feedback forms
- 23-24 June 2016: 2-day Workshop@ERTICO
- Agenda organised per workprogramme
- Programme leader and call champions will present the project initiatives emerging form the feedback forms and discussions with partners
- Possibility to use ERTICO meeting rooms for side meetings on specific calls
- End August-September: first F2F meetings of the proposals
