Towards zero: Safe vehicles, safe drivers, safe roads

This event, organised by our Partner ACEA, will look at the need for combining cutting-edge vehicle safety technologies with safer driver behaviour and better road infrastructure in order to move towards the vision of zero traffic fatalities in the future.

Given that the European Commission’s proposal for the revision of the General Safety Regulation is under discussion right now by the European Parliament and the European Council, this conference will be extremely timely.

‘Towards zero: Safe vehicles, safe drivers, safe roads’ acts as a follow-up to the road safety pledge that was signed by a coalition of transport stakeholders, including ACEA, earlier this year. It forms part of the auto industry’s commitment to work with all stakeholders to continue improving road safety, both today and in the future, when automation will play a stronger role.

The 26 November event will serve as a platform for discussion and expertise sharing, bringing together the key players that need to work together to deliver a fully-integrated approach to road safety for Europe.
