The next TISA Committee Meeting and General Assembly will take place in Cologne, Germany, on 12 and 13 June 2018 at WDR.
The General Assembly (GA) will start Tuesday 12 in the morning with the welcoming of TISA’s President and continuing then with a summary of the 2017 activities, focusing in particular on the reporting from the Executive Office, the election of the President and the Treasurer and TISA’s strategy.
A keynote speech will then be delivered by Chris Pendleton, Principal PM Manager at Microsoft, focusing on the introduction of Azure Maps.
The Assembly will then conclude with the highlights of the plans for the year-end and scheduling the next meetings.
After the GA, Committee Meetings will take place during both days. On 12 June, the agenda will foresee regular reporting from various working groups and task forces, such as TISA’s Technical & Standardisation Committee, Content & Service Provision Committee and the Product Committee, while the next day will focus on TISA BAWG – Business Analysis Working Group – and the TPEG3 Workshop.
The GA will be a great occasion to continue the work with the TPEG3 Workshop, in order to establish a TPEG standard communication protocol for Autonomous Vehicles (AV).
